From October 2009 HSE regulations are changing, the new emergency first aid courses come into effect. Details regarding the course will follow in due course.
emergency action – appointed persons (4+ hrs)
This is a lifesaver course, giving participants essential lifesaving emergency techniques.
This course covers the needs of the 'Appointed Person', tailored to your workplace. Suitable for
low risk workplaces, (offices, shops, pubs) split sites or shift operations where a nominated person
will deal with emergency incidents.

first aid at work (24hrs)
This statutory First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health & Safety (First Aid)
Regulations 1981. Employers have a legal obligation to make First Aid provision for their employees.
This qualification fulfils that legal obligation and is a comprehensive introduction to First Aid provision.

first aid at work refresher (12hrs)
Revalidation of your First Aid at Work certificate can be done by a 12 hour Refresher course, provided the FAW certificate is
within its 3 year valid lifetime (there is a 28 day period of grace), otherwise the standard 24 hour course must be completed again.

A readily available and easily operated Automated External Defibrillator (AED), at the scene, in the hands of a trained operator
can enormously increase the chance of surviving sudden cardiac arrest. This course will enable you to make a life-saving difference.
